Last night my pastor preached on II Corinthians chapter twelve and I wrote this after the service. I thought I would share it here.
Unworthy
What have I to glory in?
Or goodness could I claim?
Nothing worthy in myself
but all of Jesus' name.
No acts of greatness could I attain
or talents that I bring.
Only to my blessed Lord
should I ever cling.
Nothing could I glory in,
for sure I have no boast,
save in the precious Saviour,
the One who loved me most.
What am I without Him?
Less than nothing at best.
What am I with His grace?
So happily, wonderfully blessed.
