Brother Pittman just passed away a little while ago. Oh my heart just breaks to hear this. Here is a portion of the email I just received from the pastor I grew up under.
"It was good to hear your voice a few minutes ago. Five minutes after you called Bro. Don Sessions called and told me Bro. Frank went to heaven this morning. Lot of rejoicing going on up there right now."
He's right. There is a lot of rejoicing up there right now. For those of us here though, the loss of those we love causes pain. I'm just glad we don't sorrow as those who have no hope. If you saw the video below you can tell he died with victory. Only those born again can do that.
**Edited to say I'm not sure if it was this morning...or last night. The email I received a few minutes ago said this morning, but I also read Kristi's blog again just now and it says last night around 10. Sorry for the confusion on my part.

Abby, I did see the video of this dear saint just earlier this morning and and I was just thinking, "What peace"! What a dear precious man. Thanks for letting us know about him. It blessed my heart.
Abby, I wish I could have heard him in person. What a testimony of special man.
I'm so sorry for your lose. But there is great joy in knowing that this is not the last you will see of Brother Pittman...and it will be much sooner than we might think! Amen!
