Blessings and burdens...

The Lord tells us to walk by faith and not sight. Sometimes that's easier said than done, however He has never failed yet, and He never will.

The Lord graciously allowed me to spend the day with my best friend Erin this week. I was also able to visit with my favorite aunt and uncle yesterday as well. She is my Papa's sister, the oldest of the ten children. We looked through old photos and talked about my Papa. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him or think about him. Losing a father at any age isn't easy, but there are so many times I wish I could ask his advice, ask him to pray, or be held in his arms where I was always safe and NOTHING could worry me. I'm glad our Lord is that way too. When He holds me I am secure.

She loves talking about her memories from growing up and I love to hear them.

Please pray for us all right now. One of my uncles is in the hospital in Critical Care. Not sure if he's saved, and not sure if he'll make it, although he was a bit better today.
